LOCAL WAR MEMORIALS
There are four registered war memorials in the area:

The photographic memorial on the landing at The Barlow is one of the few remaining photographic memorials in the country. Many of the men shown survived the war. For a list of names: – CLICK HERE
As part of the commemorations, a further frame of photographs has been created showing men who are not included in the 144. This is also displayed on the landing The Barlow.
Biographies for men who died as a result of the war can be searched by year of death (1914 etc) as well as name.
